Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we do with it, and — in plain terms — what we never do with your mobile number.
Effective 23 September 2026. This notice covers apexmarketinglab.com and the services Apex Marketing Lab provides to its clients.
Who we are
Apex Marketing Lab LLC ("Apex", "we", "us") builds and runs websites, local search presence, managed hosting and lead, booking and follow-up systems for local businesses in the United States. Reach us at info@apexmarketinglab.com or (562) 302-5581, Sunday-Friday 08:00-19:00 Pacific.
What we collect
- What you tell us. Your name, business name, email address, phone or mobile number, website address, and whatever you type into a form, a chat or a booking request.
- What you order. The package and add-ons you select and the resulting invoices. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's own secure page — Apex never receives or stores them.
- How you use the site. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the page that referred you. We use this to keep the site working, to see which pages actually produce enquiries, and to block abuse. Access to restricted client pages is logged.
What we use it for
- Answering your enquiry and preparing a quote or scope.
- Delivering, supporting and billing the services you buy.
- Sending appointment confirmations, reminders and account notices.
- Sending marketing — only to people who asked for it, and only until they ask us to stop.
- Meeting our legal, tax and carrier-compliance obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not buy lists.
Text messaging (SMS/MMS) and your mobile information
This section is the one that governs texting. It applies to every number collected on this website.
How you opt in. You opt in by ticking the text-message box on a form on this site, by asking us in writing to text you, or by texting us first. The box is never ticked for you. Consent to receive texts is optional and is never a condition of any purchase.
What we send. Appointment and account updates, replies to your enquiry, and marketing or promotional offers.
How often. Message frequency varies — about 2-6 messages per month.
What it costs. Message and data rates may apply. Apex does not charge you for the messages themselves.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and you are removed immediately. You will get one confirmation message and nothing after it. Reply HELP, email info@apexmarketinglab.com, or call (562) 302-5581 for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile information. No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Your number and your consent record are handed only to the subcontractors that physically carry the message for us — our messaging platform and the mobile carriers — and those parties may use them only to deliver our messages. They may not use them for their own marketing and may not add you to, or sell you as part of, any list.
What we keep as proof. When you opt in we record the date and time, the page you were on, and the exact wording you agreed to. Mobile carriers may ask us to produce that record. We keep it for as long as you stay opted in and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can show the opt-in was genuine.
Delivery. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We email you about work in progress, invoices and support whether or not you opted into marketing — that is part of the service you bought. Marketing email goes only to people who asked for it, and every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe that we honour.
Cookies and measurement
The site uses cookies and similar storage to remember your session, keep a part-finished estimate or cart, and count visits. You can block cookies in your browser; the estimate and checkout steps need them to remember your answers between pages.
Payments
Payments are taken by Stripe. Apex receives confirmation that a payment succeeded together with the amount and the billing email; Apex does not receive the card number. Stripe handles card data under its own privacy terms.
Who else sees your information
Only the suppliers that make the service work — website hosting and platform, email delivery, the messaging platform and carriers, the payment processor, and scheduling. Each is given the minimum needed to do its job and may not use your information for anything else. We also disclose information where the law requires it. Beyond that, nothing is shared, and nothing is ever sold.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that never become clients are kept while they are still live business and then removed. Client records, invoices and consent records are kept for the length of the relationship and for the period our tax and compliance obligations require.
Your choices
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Stop marketing email: use the unsubscribe link, or email us.
- See, correct or delete what we hold: email info@apexmarketinglab.com and we will answer within 30 days.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Apex does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Use the same address above to make a request.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, client areas sit behind an authenticated login, and access to client data is limited to the people who work on that account. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected people promptly if something goes wrong.
Children
This is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this notice changes we update the date at the top. Material changes to how we text you will be notified by text or email before they take effect.
